Tacoma, WA : Two men died in a vehicle crash at South Mildred and South 10th streets on Tuesday morning, February 16, 2016

Two men were killed early Tuesday in a car crash in Tacoma, police said.

The men, both in their 20s, have not been identified.

The accident happened about 1:10 a.m. at South Mildred and South 10th streets.

A sedan was traveling north on Mildred when its driver lost control and the car slid into a parked trailer, officer Shelbie Boyd said.

The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver died later at a local hospital.

“Speed was a factor, as well as road conditions,” Boyd said.

The investigation is ongoing.
