Austin, TX : Man dead in crash on MoPac early Sunday, July 24, 2016

An early morning single-vehicle crash in Central Austin resulted in one fatality Sunday, Austin police said.

The crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. in the 500 block of MoPac Boulevard (Loop 1) near Enfield Road. The driver, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to KVUE, police said the man crashed into a pole and was pinned inside the car.
