Cottontown man dies in fatal Robertson County wreck in Tennessee

A Cottontown man has died after a motorcycle crash near Cross Plains Wednesday night.Jerry T. Coble II, 22, was driving his 2005 Suzuki motorcycle north on Calista Road near Bill Moss Road at about 11:15 p.m. when he lost control of the bike in a sloped curve, according to the crash report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.The bike fell down, slid off the road and hit a utility wire, the report said. Coble came to final rest beside a utility pole, it said.No alcohol or drug evidence was found at the scene and investigators have not requested any testing by the medical examiner’s office, the report said.
