CANYON COUNTY, ID : A deadly single-vehicle crash on Sunday, June 18, 2017

On Sunday, June 18, 2017 at around 3:00 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a deadly single-vehicle crash at Rim Road, near Melmont Road in Canyon County, south of Nampa.
A 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by 28 year old Jose Martinez of Calwell was northbound on Rim Road north of Melmont Road when it left the roadway, causing the car to roll.
Martinez died at the scene. His passenger, Jesus Silva of Mexico was flown to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise. No word on his condition.
Troopers say neither of the men were wearing a seat belt.
