A Missouri Valley woman suffered injuries when her car collided with a semi truck Sunday night on Highway 30 in Harrison County.
Around 10:20 p.m., Marilee Collier, 53, was westbound on U.S. Highway 30 outside Missouri Valley near the one-mile marker in a 1998 Ford Taurus, while Merlin Howley, 57, of Sioux City, was eastbound in a 2009 Freightliner semi truck, according to the Iowa State Patrol. For an unknown reason Collier’s Ford crossed the center line, striking the semi on the driver side and continuing to hit the tires on the trailer.
