Kennewick, WA : Woman charged with DUI following Kennewick crash on Highway 397 on Sunday night, August 10, 2014

Drugs or alcohol were involved in a crash late Sunday night that sent a Kennewick woman to the hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol. Lacey R. Thompson was taken to Trios Health following a single-car rollover crash around 11:30 p.m., state patrol said. Her condition was not immediately available. Thompson, 27, was driving a Honda Civic north on Highway 397 in Kennewick when the car drifted into the right shoulder, state patrol said. She apparently overcorrected and crossed the southbound lanes before rolling. The Civic was totaled and towed from the scene, state patrol said. Thompson was wearing a seat belt.
