ORLANDO, FL : 2 injured in fiery crash on Oak Ridge Road in Orlando on Monday, December, 11th 2017

A fiery crash involving a sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer forced officials to close Oak Ridge Road in both directions Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 6:20 a.m. on westbound Oak Ridge Road between John Young Parkway and Millenia Boulevard.Video from Sky 6 showed the SUV underneath the middle of the trailer, which was turning right onto Oak Ridge Road. The trailer and vehicle appeared to catch on fire.

One person inside the SUV suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The other suffered minor injuries, according to police.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The road was later reopened.

No other details have been released.
