Meriden, CT : Delays on I-691 E by exit 10 after accident on Thursday, 1st September 2016

Delays are backing up on Interstate 691 E by exit 10 after a two vehicle accident this morning.

State police said the accident occurred around 8 a.m. and involved two box trucks. Minor injuries are reported. Only the left lane is open to traffic, state police said.

The Department of Transportation is reporting a heavy delay in the area. Traffic is backed up almost to exit 5.
