A 27-year-old man died Sunday morning after a crash involving a domestic dispute in the southwest

suburbs.

About 6:30 a.m., Will County sheriff’s deputies saw two vehicles on Princeton Avenue in

unincorporated Lockport Township with severe damage, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s

office.

One vehicle, driven by 27-year-old William B. Lesley, was located in the backyard of a home on the

south side of Princeton Avenue, the sheriff’s office said. Lesley was pronounced dead at 9:50 a.m. by

the Will County coroner’s office.

The second vehicle, driven by a 27-year-old woman, was found on the roadway, according to the

sheriff’s office. The woman was taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, where she was treated

for minor injuries and released.

Preliminary reports indicate the crash may have been related to a domestic dispute between Lesley and

the woman, the sheriff’s office said.

Sheriff’s traffic investigators and sheriff’s detectives are investigating the crash. Lab results are

pending for both Lesley and the woman.
