Carlisle, PA : Man dies after tractor-trailer accident at Amazon on Tuesday, September 19th 2017

A man is dead after getting run over by a tractor-trailer at the Amazon warehouse at 675 Allen Road in South Middleton Township Tuesday.

Cumberland County Coroner Charles Hall said 28-year-old Devan Michael Shoemaker of Millerstown died from multiple traumatic injuries after a tractor driver accidentally ran over Shoemaker when he was hooking up a trailer, according to Sentinel news partner abc27 News. Shoemaker was pronounced dead at the scene after the incident happened around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is currently investigating the incident, spokeswoman Joanna Hawkins told PennLive.
