NEW HAVEN, CT : Pedestrian killed in crash on Whalley Avenue between Winthrop Avenue and Norton Street on Wednesday, 22nd January, 2020

City police said a pedestrian was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle on Whalley Avenue Wednesday night.

The department said the crash happened on Whalley Avenue between Winthrop Avenue and Norton Street shortly before 8 p.m.
By roughly 9:30 p.m., police confirmed the pedestrian was fatally wounded in the crash. No further information was immediately available Wednesday night.
