Allentown, PA : A Coplay man was killed on Wednesday, June 14, 2017

A Coplay man was killed Wednesday afternoon when his car crashed into a concrete median on Route 22 in South Whitehall Township and veered across the ramps at 15th Street, police said.Jonathan E. Flook, 60, was eastbound at 5:12 p.m. when he lost control of the car and bumped the concrete divider with his left front bumper, state police at Bethlehem said.

Flook steered from the median but ended up flying across an off-ramp and an on-ramp, and crashing through the on-ramp guardrail, Trooper Tyler Herrera said.

The car stopped in a grassy area between the on-ramp and Route 22. Flook was pronounced dead at the scene, Herrera said.
