One person is dead and another is being treated at a hospital following a motorcycle-involved accident on Hwy. 67. Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said 41-year-old Timothy Wages, of Saucier, was killed in the overnight crash.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, two people on a motorcycle were involved in a crash with another vehicle at Hwy. 67 northbound and East Wortham Rd.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. Wages and his female passenger were air lifted to a local hospital. Wages was pronounced dead at the hospital. Hargrove said he was wearing a full face helmet.
The female passenger received "substantial injuries," but she is in stable condition at Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport, according to Hargrove.
