Saint Joe,ND : One killed in Slope County accident on December, Friday 1st 2017
A 21-year-old woman died and two other people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover Friday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 2:06 p.m. when Y Mani Zayd Freeman, Dickinson, was driving a 2007 Nissan Murano and lost control of the vehicle. It rolled several times about 13 miles southwest of New England on 130th Avenue Southwest, the patrol said.
Freeman and two of the three passengers were ejected, the patrol said. The passengers were Alyssa Jo Golden, 19, Dickinson, and Brian Sweet, 22, Amidon, N.D., and Dylon Daniel Janke, 20, Jamestown, who was not injured. The patrol did not indicate which passengers were ejected. No seat belts were in use.
Golden and Sweet sustained serious injuries, the patrol said.
Alcohol was a factor in the crash, the patrol said. The patrol and Slope County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the crash. New England EMS/Fire/Rescue also responded.
