Westport, CT : One person killed after accident on I-95 in Westport on Sunday morning, December 28, 2014

One man is dead after an accident that closed I-95 North in Westport early Sunday morning.

The accident happened around 2:30 a.m. between exits 16 and 18.

State Police say Alan Alexis, 22, of Stratford was killed in the crash. He was driving a Nissan which collided with an Infiniti. The driver and three passengers inside the Infiniti weren’t injured.

Police say Alexis, who was killed, wasn’t wearing a seatbelt.

The highway was closed for some time but has since reopened.
