Jacksonville, FL : Motorcyclist is injured in vehicle crash on Wednesday October 8th 2014.

A motorcyclist is injured following a crash involving a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office vehicle Wednesday morning. The crash happened at Interstate 295 north and Pritchard Road, on Jacksonville’s Westside. An officer noticed a car in the woods with its flasher on just after 6 a.m. The crusier was hit when the officer activated his blue lights and began to slow down. The motorcyclist then rear-ended the JSO crusier, said JSO. The motorcyclist is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a hospital. The left northbound lane was blocked on I-295 at Pritchard around 6:30 a.m., and reDelays due to the crash stretched back to Wilson Boulevard, which is about seven miles.
