Seekonk, MA : Rhode Island man critically injured in a crash on Interstate 195 in Seekonk on Saturday, January 16, 2016

Police say a Rhode Island man was critically injured in a crash on Interstate 195 in Seekonk.

State police say the crash occurred at about 6 p.m. Saturday around the 2.6-mile marker on the eastbound side of the highway.

A 2003 Dodge pickup truck driven by 26-year-old Chad Jackvony, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, traveled from the left lane into the median. Jackvony died from injuries related to the crash.

It's unclear why the truck hit the median.

The crash remains under investigation by state police.
