Racine, WI : Woman injured after Sunnyslope crash on Thursday afternoon, September 22, 2016

A woman was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon after she reportedly passed out and crashed. Along the way she reportedly drove through several yards, hit a small tree, knocked over a decorative light pole and ended up in a ditch.
The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sunnyslope Drive and Heritage Avenue.
The woman was taken to Ascension All Saints Hospital, according to Bob Berens of the South Shore Fire Department. It was not immediately clear what caused the driver to pass out.
