A man was seriously injured after being hit by a car on a busy Colorado Springs road.
Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the area of Garden of the Gods Road just east of I-25 for a crash involving a pedestrian. Emergency crews found a man with life-threatening injuries, who was taken to a hospital.
Police say a car was driving eastbound in the left lane on Garden of the Gods Road when it hit the person, who was crossing the street mid-block outside of a crosswalk.
