Quincy, IL : Five people injured after two-car crash in downtown Quincy on Monday night, February 23, 2015

A two-car crash sent five people to the hospital Monday night in Quincy.

Authorities were called to the intersection of 5th and Maine around 7:20 p.m.

According to the Quincy Police Department, Tiffany Trevino of Quincy was driving east on Maine St. when she failed to stop at the stoplight.

Police say she entered the intersection and hit a northbound vehicle driven by Morgan Black of Quincy.

Black and a three-month-old child, along with Trevino and two children, ages 16 months and five years, were hospitalized.

Police say none of the reported injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

The Quincy Fire Department and Adams County EMS also responded to the scene.
