NASHVILLE, TN : Fort Campbell motorcyclist killed in Davidson County crash on Sunday, 20th October 2024

A Fort Campbell motorcyclist was killed in an early Sunday morning crash in Davidson County, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Interstate 24 West between the Old Hickory Boulevard and Joelton exits.

Police said the motorcyclist was identified as a 24-year-old Fort Campbell man. Officials are working to notify his family.

According to witnesses, the motorcyclist passed them at an estimated speed of more than 100 miles per hour. A short time later, witnesses saw the motorcyclist crash, police said.
