ST ALBANS, VT : 1 hospitalized after St. Albans crash involving tractor-trailer on Friday, 7th June 2024

One person was sent to the hospital following a head-on crash early Friday morning on Route 104 in St. Albans.

Authorities say an SUV was headed north around 4 a.m. when it crossed the center lane and crashed into a tractor-trailer.

Police say the SUV driver was taken to UVM Medical Center with multiple serious injuries. The truck driver was uninjured. Neither of their names has been released.

They say alcohol and speed could be contributing factors in the crash.
