Indianapolis, IN : 34-year-old Troy Duis critically injured in motorcycle collision on Michigan 51 in Cass County on Friday, March 14, 2016

A Niles man remained in critical condition Monday after a crash that happened after a driver reportedly pulled out in front of his motorcycle in Cass County.
Police said 34-year-old Troy Duis was riding south on Michigan 51 about 2:10 p.m. Friday when 16-year-old Alexis Chorba tried to turn her vehicle left onto the highway from Peavine Street.
Police said Chorba did not see Duis, who was unable to avoid colliding with her vehicle. Duis, who was not wearing a helmet, was airlifted to Memorial Hospital, where he remained Monday morning. Chorba was treated for minor injuries at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac.
