Piqua, OH : 2 motorcycle riders injured after Piqua crash on Saturday evening, April 16, 2016
Two motorcycle riders were seriously injured this evening in a crash.
The crash between the motorcycle and vehicle was reported around 6:30 p.m. on County Road 25-A in Piqua.
“We called CareFlight for both people,” said Capt. Kevin Ganger of the Piqua Fire Department.
Ganger said the two riders, a man and woman, suffered multiple injuries. They were flown in the same medical helicopter from the scene. The pair were not believed to have been wearing helmets, and the captain said he didn’t see any helmets at the crash scene.
There were no injuries reported to occupants in the vehicle, he said.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Piqua Post is investigating the crash.
