Glen Jean, WV : Two people died in a three-vehicle wreck on West Virginia Route 16 in Fayette County on Thursday, June 18, 2015

Police say a 21-year-old woman has been arrested after two people died from injuries suffered in a three-vehicle wreck in Fayette County.

The accident occurred around 9:14 a.m. Thursday on West Virginia Route 16 between Glen Jean and Mount Hope. Sheriff Steve Kessler identified the victims as Joyce Richardson and Eric Richardson, both of the Mossy-Scarbro area.

Kessler says an SUV driven by Eric Richardson was hit by a pickup truck that crossed the center line. The SUV spun sideways and was hit by another vehicle and overturned.

Authorities say Sarena I. Fox was driving the pickup truck. She has been arrested and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance causing death.

It is unclear if she has a lawyer.
