INDIANAPOLIS, IN : Man killed when car crashes into tree on Indianapolis' northeast side on Tuesday, 20th February 2024

IMPD is investigating after a man was killed in a single-car crash on Indianapolis' northeast side early Tuesday.

The crash happened shortly before 12:15 a.m. Feb. 20 in the 9300 block of Fall Creek Road, just north of Fort Harrison State Park and near East 71st Street.

In a statement, police said a preliminary investigation indicated a white Pontiac car was driving southwest when the passenger-side tires left the road and the driver overcorrected before crashing into trees.
