1 injured in crash that crushed Honda in Tahoe City California
A man was injured Wednesday morning when his vehicle was struck by another on the southbound I-5.The crash was reported just before 8:40 a.m. at East Main Street, the California Highway Patrol said.CHP officer Gilbert Vela, who was at the crash scene, said the driver of a Honda Civic was taken to a nearby hospital after a Mazda pickup struck his vehicle from behind and pushed it into a Chevy Tahoe.
The Honda was crushed between the two vehicles, Vela said.Traffic was backed up to Katella Avenue while emergency responders were at the scene, but has since cleared.
