CANTON, ME : 2 die in Maine crash on Christmas night on Tuesday, 25th December 2018

Police in Maine say a car crash killed two people on Christmas night and is being investigated.

Police say the Canton crash killed 38-year-old Shawn Hodge of Rumford and 26-year-old Sarah Bosworth of Mexico. They’ve described the crash as a single-vehicle crash that also injured a third person.

The crash took place just before 9:30 p.m. Deputies and state police both responded. The crash was still under investigation Wednesday. Police have not identified the third person involved in the crash or provided an update on their status.
