ROCKFORD, IL : 2-vehicle wreck blocks traffic in downtown Rockford on Thursday, 21st November, 2019

A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East State and North Second streets Thursday night required extrication and temporarily blocked traffic in both directions.

The crash happened before 5 p.m. and firefighters extricated the driver of a minivan. The driver was able to walk under his own power after being removed from the vehicle.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured in the crash.
