Town of Burns, WI : Rockland man, 21, killed in one-vehicle crash in rural La Crosse County on Friday morning, February 10, 2017

A Rockland man died Friday morning in a single-vehicle crash in rural La Crosse County.

Authorities received a report just before 5:30 a.m. of a one-vehicle crash on Big Creek Road in the town of Burns. Emergency responders found 21-year-old Vincent Davis dead inside the vehicle.

According to the La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department, Davis was heading north when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The sheriff’s office says the crash remains under investigation but that speed was a contributing factor.
