BOW, NH : Crash on I-89 south causes traffic backup on Monday, October, 9th 2017
New Hampshire State Police responded to a three-car crash on the southbound side of Interstate 89 in Bow Monday morning.
The crash was reported at 11:06 a.m at mile marker 0.6.Responding troopers discovered that three cars had been involved in a crash in the right lane.
Investigation revealed that a 2007 Subaru and the 2004 Volvo XC 70 traveling behind it had slowed in traffic when a 2004 Cadillac driven by Abby Sbat, 54, of Hillsboro, rear-ended the Volvo, and his car ended up partially under the Volvo.
The impact also caused the Volvo to strike the Subaru.
Bow and Concord firefighters responded, but there were no reported injures.
One travel lane had to be closed, resulting in traffic backups.
Sbat was issued a traffic ticket for following too closely.
