BOONSBORO, MD : Girl flown out following park accident on Sunday, August 27, 2017

A 3-year-old girl was flown Sunday afternoon to Children’s National Health System in Washington, D.C., after she hit her head on a rock at Greenbrier State Park, according to a Maryland Natural Resources Police spokesman.

It is not clear how the girl struck her head, Brian Albert said.

The incident was reported at about 4 p.m., Albert said.

Albert said he did not have any details about the girl’s condition.
