Stony Point, NY : Two women hospitalized after Palisades Interstate Parkway crash in Stony Point on Sunday, August 3, 2014

A Long Island woman is hospitalized in critical condition following a one-vehicle crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The woman was a passenger in the car when it rolled over and struck a tree in Stony Point around 12:20 p.m. Sunday. Authorities say she suffered multiple fractures and possible internal injuries. The driver, also from Long Island, was able to free herself. She was taken to a hospital where she's listed in serious condition. Both women are in their 20s. No other vehicle was involved in the crash. It occurred a few miles south of the Palisades Parkway Visitor Center and Bookstore.
