4 people involved in Milford crash

A crash sent one car into the water and four people to a local hospital Saturday night, Milford police said

The two-car crash occurred at the intersection of Route 16 and Beaver Street in Milford.

A witness told NewsCenter 5 that it appeared one vehicle had gone through the ice. The driver of that vehicle was not seriously injured, police said.

However, one adult and three children in the second vehicle were taken to Milford Hospital. Their conditions were not immediately released.

The location of the crash is very close to Route 495.
