Two people are recovering in the hospital after the motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck at 24th and Racine streets at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The passenger on the motorcycle sustained a serious head injury, one which led rescuers to call Flight for Life to take the passenger to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
Police said the operator of the motorcycle also was injured. The operator’s condition is not known but is said to be less severe.
It’s unclear if anyone was cited as the investigation into what caused the collision continues.
