Jasper, AL : One man killed in single-vehicle crash on north of Jasper on Thursday December 31 2015.

A man was killed early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident just north of Jasper.
William Robert Legg, 69, was killed when the 2003 Ford F150 he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment and collided with a tree, according to a news release from Alabama State Troopers. Legg, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred around 2:40 a.m. on Alabama 5 near the 175 mile marker, one mile north of Jasper.
State troopers are still investigating the accident.
