Woman dies after minor crash in Las Vegas Nevada
woman who died Monday night had suffered a medical episode after a minor car collision in a parking lot on the city's east side.According to a Metro news release, a 2003 Hyundai Elantra driven by a 68-year-old Las Vegas woman was traveling southbound around 9:40 p.m. in a parking lot on South Nellis Boulevard, near East Vegas Valley Drive, at a slow rate of speed. The Hyundai drifted to the right and struck a chain link fence, resulting in minor property damage.
The woman was transported to Desert Springs Hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel. It is unknown at this time if the victim had a medical episode before the collision.
This will not count as a traffic-related fatality until the cause and manner of death is determined by the Clark County coroner's office.
