Seven people were injured in a head-on crash during a street race between two vehicles Friday night in Denver. Colorado State Patrol troopers say a Volvo was racing another vehicle down Federal Boulevard when the Volvo swiped the other racing vehicle, causing the Volvo to lose control and crash head-on into a Nissan Altima heading the opposite direction. Two people were ejected from the Altima, and two others in the vehicle were also injured. Three people in the Volvo, including the driver, were also seriously injured. that the Volvo reached speeds of up to 100 mph. The vehicle that the driver of the Volvo was racing did not stay on the scene, and police are searching for it. No one has life-threatening injuries, Trooper Nate Reid said. The people in the Volvo were identified as David Felan, who was the driver and had moderate injuries. The others were identified as Israel Reyes, who had serious injuries, and Pablo Morua, who had minor injuries. The driver of the Altima was identified as Rachel Neiman.
