Topeka, KS : No injuries in hit and run involving car and trailer home on Sunday evening, Oct 4, 2015

A hit and run involving a vehicle and a trailer home occurred at around 7:43 p.m. on Sunday evening, said Officer L. Cummings with the Topeka Police Department.

The incident happened just north of the intersection of US-24 highway and N. Kansas Ave.

A propane tank was damaged in the collision, Lt. Chris Heaven said. Kansas Gas Service responded to the scene.

Heaven said that there were no injuries reported and that they are still searching for the occupant of the vehicle who fled the scene.
