Troy, OH : A Troy man died following a one-car crash on Friday, August 18, 2017

According to Miami County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Randy Slusher, David Weaver, 73, of Troy, died after veering off the roadway around 8:30 p.m. Friday. Weaver was driving a Corvette westbound on State Route 41 near Childrens Home-Casstown Road, when he veered off the right side of the road, striking a tree.

Weaver sustained fatal injuries as the result of the crash, he said.

No drugs or alchol are expected in the crash, Slusher said.
