BIRMINGHAM, AL : Car crashes after police chase through Birmingham eastern section on Thursday, 10th January 2019

There was a heavy police presence in Birmingham's East Lake area after a car crashed as a result of a police chase on the south end of Oporto Madrid Boulevard.

The car ended up on a sidewalk with a front wheel resting up on a porch area of a business. That street was blocked off because officials were concerned about a possible explosion from the gas tank.Three people were taken into custody and are being checked out for any injuries from the wreck.
