New York City, NY : Female passenger killed after car crash in Laurelton on Saturday February 20 2016

Police say a passenger in a car that hit a guardrail in Queens has been killed in the fiery crash that followed.
The accident happened at around 4:20 a.m. Saturday in Laurelton.
Police say a 27-year-old man was driving south on Laurelton Parkway when his car hit a guardrail. They say the car became airborne, hit a tree stump and burst into flames.
A female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was not immediately released.
The driver was treated for injuries at Jamaica Hospital.
The investigation is continuing.
