Erin, TN : 2 adults, 11-day-old infant die when vehicles collide on highway in Houston County n Monday evening, Oct 12, 2015

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two adults and a 10-day-old infant have died and another person was injured when two vehicles collided in Houston County.

According to a preliminary THP report, 37-year-old Benjamin Franklin of New Johnsonville was driving south in a Dodge Ram on Highway 13 on Monday evening when he crossed the center line and hit a car driven by 20-year-old William Griggs of Waverly. The report says Griggs and his two passengers, 19-eyar-old Kassidy Leonard of Clarksville and 10-day-old Kimberlynn Griggs of Waverly, died in the crash.

The THP says the crash occurred near the Humphreys County border.

According to the report, charges in the crash are pending.

THP spokesman Bill Miller said no other information was immediately available.
