Murfreesboro, TN : One person injured after a single-vehicle crash on Osborne Lane early Sunday morning, July 17, 2016

A Murfreesboro man suffered life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on Osborne Lane early Sunday morning, according to a Murfreesboro Police Department report.

Matthew Neal, 23, was driving a white car when the vehicle failed to round a curve and veered off Osborne Lane near Caraway Lane on Sunday around 1:55 a.m., according to the release.

The car then struck a mailbox, an electrical service box, a brick subdivision sign and a parked vehicle, police said.

Neal was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, police said.

Investigators with the city's Fatal Accident Crash Team are examining the incident, the release states.
