Perry, OK : One person died, another injured after a fatal collision in Perry on Thursday, March 10, 2016
A fatal collision occurred 6 miles north of Noble leaving the driver of one vehicle dead and another uninjured.
Around 4:17 p.m, Connie Schones, 63, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Impala eastbound, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
The vehicle went left of center and struck the rear axle of another vehicle which was driving westbound.
She was pinned for 2 hours, 45 minutes before being freed by the Perry Fire Department.
Schones was pronounced dead at the scene from head, external and internal injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, Bryan Standifer, 30, was not injured.
Schones was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, troopers said.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
