Beaumont, TX : Driver injured after a Multi vehicle crash in Orange County on Wednesday afternoon, July 20, 2016

One driver was sent to the hospital after a multi vehicle crash in Orange County on Wednesday afternoon, according to a release issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The three-vehicle accident happened on I-10 eastbound near mile marker 865.

A driver of a Chevrolet, Rynisha Holloway, 26, was traveling eastbound on I-10 behind a Chrysler PT Cruiser, Trooper Stephanie Davis stated in a release.

Trooper Davis also stated that Holloway's front right tire blew out, and in attempt to avoid striking the Chrysler PT Cruiser, she veered into the outside concrete wall.

After hitting the wall, she came back across traffic lanes and struck a Volvo truck tractor semi-trailer.
Holloway, of Beaumont, was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth hospital with minor injuries, according to Davis.

The other two drivers involved in the accident were not injured in the crash.
