Two young brothers are dead and their grandmother seriously hurt after a car-pickup crash in central Minnesota.
Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen says the crash was reported about 1 p.m. Sunday at an intersection east of Bowlus.
Authorities say a Ford Taurus passenger car collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck. Two boys in the car — 12-year-old Justin Minnerath and his 7-year-old brother, Jonathan Minnerath, both of Little Falls — were killed. Their 51-year-old grandmother, who was driving the car, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious injuries.
The 45-year-old driver of the pickup was taken to a Little Falls hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
