Rush Springs, OK : Oklahoma mother, 3-year-old daughter killed in car accident on Highway 81 Monday night, January 4, 2016

An Oklahoma family is mourning the loss of a young mother and her 3-year-old daughter following a deadly car accident Monday night.

According to Chickasha’s Express-Star, a pickup heading northbound on Highway 81 hit a car that failed to yield to a stop sign.

Authorities say 24-year-old Precious Hamilton, the driver of the car, died at the scene from head injuries.

Her daughter, 3-year-old McKenzi Wood, died on Jan. 5 from injuries she sustained in the crash.
