Warwick, RI : A 56-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a crash in Warwick on May 21, 2014

Warwick Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in their city.

Officials tell ABC6 a middle-aged man was driving his motorcycle around 7:45 Wednesday evening when he somehow lost control and crashed into a telephone pole at the corner of West Shore Road and Bend Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are not releasing the name of the victim at this time, and are still investigating the circumstances around the crash.
