AUSTIN, TX : 2 men seriously injured in overnight wreck on North Lamar Blvd. on Monday, 1st April 2019

Austin Police briefly shut down the northbound lanes of North Lamar Boulevard in far north Austin early Monday after a two-vehicle crash that left two seriously injured.

Austin Travis County EMS took two people to the hospital, a man in his 60s with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries, and a man in his 20s with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The crash took place around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Lamar Boulevard and Neans Drive, between Braker and Rundberg Lanes. Austin Police say a Nissan Sentra and a Nissan Rouge were the vehicles involved and one vehicle was headed north when the wreck occurred.
